Click “Preview” button and choose print if preview is correct. Add this license key in Help dialog and activate the plugin. ![]() Set other options appropriately (sheet size, scale, plot style etc.)Ħ. Click on “PDF Options…” button and make sure “Include layer information” checkbox is checked (it should be checked by default).ĥ. Choose print option in AutoCAD to print model or layout view (Ctrl+P), select “DWG To PDF.pc3” printer from printer Name dropdown menu.Ĥ. Export your Revit view or sheet to DWG file format (make sure you have appropriate Layer key assigned so Revit categories are put into valid DWG layers).ģ. To scale a Fill Pattern you need to re-import the pattern into Revit with a different scale. The procedure to achieve this is simple:ġ. To adjust the scale of a Revit Fill Pattern you need to open the Fill Pattern Dialogue box found at: Manage tab-> Additional Settings -> Fill Patterns. Let’s say you have Revit view or sheet that you want to have in PDF with layers so they can be turned on/off appropriately. For example, if the current view is set to 1/4' 1'-0' then a zoom setting of 50 will result in the current print area being printed at 1/8' 1'-0'. Setting the zoom level to 100 will scale the print based on the current scale set for the view being printed. The file size necessary to trigger this option depends on system speed and amount of memory.Creating (producing) PDF with layers from Revit, using Print to PDF option is, unfortunately, not possible. If you need a print to scale differently, then use the zoom option.
